I need a new band to listen to. Any suggestions?

Recently I've really liked bands with female singers who do rock/metal or whatever it's called. I don't really understand the distinction between genres... just listen to them. :P

One I've been listening to recently is Amaranthe

and also Paramore but anyway I've been into a lot of female singers with rock or metal.

I don't care if there's some yelling or screaming as long as it's not throughout the whole song.

Anyone have suggestions? Even if there isn't a female singer or anything else I like I'd be willing to try out a new artist if you recommend it. I also listen to some EDM artists on YouTube but I typically like there to be some lyrics.

    Any suggestions are appreciated

Yeah! I used to listen to a few of their songs. I think my favorite were Bleed it Out and New Divide. Good band!

Listen to Halestorm. Lzzy Hale is an amazing singer and her brother, Arejay, one of the best drummer I've ever seen. You can try In This Moment, as well. I could tell you about Evanescence, but I don't really listen to that band. I can't think of any other band with a female singer as of now. If you like old school hard rock/metal of the 80's, you might want to listen to Lita Ford. She's the best female guitarist ever and she rocks!

If you're open to other bands with male singers, I'll come back and give you a few names as well.

I have just listened to some songs of Halestorm and they are very very nice.

12-6cloud, I can suggest Guano Apes because they are quite similar, let's try to losten to these songs:

    Open your eyes
    Big in Japan
    No Speech

I think you can enjoy with.
