Compute Engine recently changed the process logging into a Windows instance that affect all Windows instances running images v20150511 or later. Changes to the process include:
Windows passwords are now encrypted by Compute Engine and cannot be accessed through the metadata server.
By default, Compute Engine will create a username based on the email account authenticated with gcloud. For example, if the user account authenticated with gcloud is [email protected], the username for the Windows instance will be user.
Compute Engine will always generate a random password for a username. It is not possible to set a custom password through gcloud or the Developers Console.
so someone can explain how to generate the pass ...!!!!
If your Gmail address is [email protected]
Your username will be medsamy and a random password will be generated for you to login![]()
