We had a ref program a long time ago, if someone got more refs he would earn something , but it's not active anymore. It was only driving inactive members , so we shut it down.
Humm, I asked cause I was thinking about making a video about the forum. I really love the idea and trust vibes here!

Hey @Angemon Thanks for mentioning my video. It was a very little contribution and a favor I could do to a community and a person who has helped me a lot time and again. Anyways, as for the ref program, why not start activating members like the other forums. For eg:- a member could join the community, but to be activated as a full time member he would have to show us some proof that he/she is legible like some screenshot of another established forum's profile. This is not new and has been implemented by many other forums, but this would help get some HQ members and at the same time and get some popularity for the referral program.
This is just a suggestion. If you mean to implement it, I'd be happy to help.
