I have found that you are using ubuntu and the source list were obsolete, i fixed it and i have installed Curl
you can now run the command
[MENTION=9589]oubaha[/MENTION] , you need to reinstall Centos 6 on your VPS instead of Ubuntu , because the command was written for Centos. Go to your VPS and you will see reinstall (boot) and install Centos 6
Edit: even that [MENTION=11005]yipman[/MENTION] solved the issue , I recommend running the command on Centos instead of Ubuntu , so it can work without any problem.
the same problem !! I try for many times to acces on my vps to install centos 6 but it gave me this message "le bureau a distance ne peux pas se connecter pour l'une des raison detaillées si dessous :
1-l'accées a distance au serveur n'est pas activé
2-l'ordinateur distant est étteint
3-l"ordinateur distant n'est pas disponible sur le réseau "

Where did you buy the VPS? Servercheap or Alpharacks ?

It's not an RDP , are you sure you're using Putty to access your vps? If you want to install Centos 6 on the VPS then you should access your control panel that you have received from alpharacks when you bought the vps
