I never used BTC and never used any faucet sites or whatever. Since there was this btc-flow website and i made a bot for it and earned pretty good money over night, i was thinking about making a faucet bot, with a lot of faucets.

The absolutely awesome thing is, that you directly get money! At other sites you need to purchase a giftcard, then it takes about 10 days or longer until you get them, and you have to wait, wait and wait....

I did the math, and to be profitable i'd need to add many good paying faucets so the average is at least 350 satoshis.

350 satoshis = 0.000841$

1000 captchas from 2captcha.com = ~0,6$ in average (sometimes just 0,5$ sometimes 0,7$)

So 1000 solved captchas in faucet sites which give 350 satoshis in average give 0,841$

0,841$ from faucets
- 0,600$ for captchas
--------------------------
0,241$

Now this is just a little profit, but if you do that with 30 ip's and 30 btc addresses at the same time, it would be 7,23$.

There are of course other factors like the "cooldown" time from the faucets, for example some sites allow you to get 100 satoshis every 10 minutes (but we only need high paying faucets!), and some 1000 satoshis / day.

Since i dont know much about faucets, btc and stuff, i wanted to ask you if you think there are enough faucets to make this bot profitable?

I would need to add like 100 faucets (average earning minimum 350 satoshis). Are there even that much faucets?
What do you think?

There are plenty of faucets, the obly problem they give you random amount of btc. Check out "faucet rotator" sites, maybe you will find them handy, my favorite is "land of bitcoin". Good luck, hope to see this bot ;)

I considered about this alot before. Were making all kind of bots but it was just not worth. btc-flow was best site to earn btc I have ever seen. Maximum you can earn from old and legit faucet was stable ~450 satoshi / 15 min if I remember good. But every time you need to type captcha. So 450 satoshi - 0.001$. For captcha in normal and good captcha filling sites it takes also 0.001$ and on that shitty 2captcha its ~0.007. Also it fails alot and too big waiting times so price might even be bigger. What left is about ~0.003$. Making hundret of accounts this would be cool but "legit" faucets have some kind of protections and they can decrease reward whatever they want. You already complained about btc-flow that they increasing/decreasing earnings when they want. In my opinion its way better to automate those ptc sites than faucets (unless you find exploitable faucets or some new sites which pays alot.. but you know, it dies fast).

Edit: but yeah there is many faucets with different waiting intervals. There is faucets which give 1k satoshi every 6hours and so on. So putting lots of haard work and making bot to collect satoshis from all those sites would make some cents but as I said its not worth. It will take some time to code the bot and it will take more time to update it since if they change code or some requests then it will take hours to find how to solve errors (there will be many faucets so also there will be many problems.).

On 2captcha its 0,0005 / captcha, and there is also an option to report a bad captcha so you dont get charged for it. There are also about 2-3 different faucet scripts on the websites, so i just need to write 1-3 different codes, then just parse some info like the url, recaptcha id and btc address and its done.
Like i said even if it's only 0,1$ profit / day, it would be great because you can multiply your earnings with private proxies (I always have about 30, so it would be 3$ /day)

I know, and this made me think more about that concept, but the disadvantage of imacros is that you cannot multithread it and you need a browser. Also proxy support is a little hard because you always need to handle errors. I also need a certain kind of faucet (using the same script)

I know and i made this thread just because i need some opinions. I also know that if some site change their code i need to fix it. I just wanted to know what people think, maybe tell me something i dont know, because i dont know much about btc and faucets, and then decide if i make the bot or not :)

Danger Devil no problem :)

The idea is good however some faucets change their payout depending on how much BTC they got in stock. So some days a faucet would be worth botting somedays not. If you are planing on having 100+ faucets it will be alot of work to control that the faucets are giving profit from captcha every day. Just something to keep in mind.

As you mention it really is power in numbers for this one,
I see you suggest in the OP about being useful if run on multiple servers,

I totally agree,
usually because the amount to claim is so small, i suspect that most people claim a couple of times and get bored

Thats why i decided to make CoinCollector,
although probably 80% of people will just see it as a captcha balance destroyer lol
the other 20% who dont mind putting a couple of man hours entering captchas at sites like 9kw can essentially run the bot for free

I have to admit while i was building my bot, i couldnt get the thought out of my head that it was going to cost more to run than it would make,
but with the use of "captcha exchange" sites like 9kw or 2captcha then all is profit

Also, i was quite staggered to find during testing that i was actually making a few cents here and there,
and i was only running a couple of minutes at a time,

oh yeah, .. maintaining 30+ sites it a bit monotonous at times,
but because the process for each is really just type, click, solve and click it makes editing/exchanging each one quite quick

Also it helps as alot of them use the same script :)

So my opinion would be to go for it while the "faucet" thing is still quite big
quite a bit of work for a small yield, but many small make large :)
