Get inspiration from other peoples work, search for tutorials on youtube and try to replcate it exactly.

Listen, You need to watch other people do there work, you need tutorials, tutorials inspire, teach and build up your knowledge, I would highly recommend you watching them since you are very new to gfx and need some inspiration to get a kickstart I'n the gfx market,

Also, when you are new to things, you can't just build things out of thin air, you need inspiration and help.
My first time was making myself stand on top of a building by watching a tutorial, I never went straight to this stuffs, also illustrator is better for this stuffs, but Photoshop is only an image manipulation tool, Anyways it is good for newbies!

Looks good for a beginner. And as Pikachu said, work more on the background. It's usually the background that catches peoples eye. Tekst is just a tekst what you edit to an certain degree, I'm not saying that you shouldn't pay attention to a tekst, but with the background you can do endless things, that's what i think. And yes i hope you're skills will exceed that of onsali. :troll:
